The ITF is a global union founded in 1896 that today represents 16 MILLION members. The quadrennial Congress is a place where thousands join forces to form one collective voice, a stage where words are turned into real actions with meaningful outcomes.
Freak were commissioned to create a suite of visual and tech content to help tell the hidden stories of transport workers across the world in the run up to the event, where we also created a VR installation which allowed workers to share the causes, concerns and experiences of their fellow affiliates in a uniquely vivid way.

Our concept was to inspire and facilitate their collective voice the Freak teams created a suite of 52 visual and interactive media that reached out to members not only at the Congress but across the world.
The centrepiece harnessed the power of Virtual Reality 3D environments captured by our teams on location in Argentina, India and Singapore these immersive experiences create a deeper understanding in members through immersion in real-world settings.
Whilst available to all members around the world the the Freak team took the creation to Congress and embedded in a bepoke design space to bring members together and empower their collective voice.
